It’s indisputable that, at present, knowing and speaking more than one language, especially English, is necessary to perform well and thrive in the work field. For that reason, in InkuA, as an international and multicultural organization with the goal of being a fulfilling experience, we wish to provide tools to help our collaborators develop in this area.

   With such a purpose in mind, we created the English Speaking Club project. As its name suggests, it is an online space available to all, where our participants can practice their speaking abilities in this language. Currently, under the supervision of Marketing’s director, Julia Bonsignore, it’s meant to be a safe and relaxed environment for participants to evolve their communication skills.

   While it is a pretty recent project, the Club promises to host regular meetings, each with a different and practical prompt for the community. In one of the latest sessions, participants were allowed to simulate a job interview with the most common questions in such a context and practice by couples in private call rooms. All that is needed to join the future ones is, once they are scheduled, to register through the Events tab in our Odoo platform.

   With this new project, InkuA reinforces its primary goal of being a gateway for its community to shine in the work field not only giving a first job experience with a humanitarian focus but also encouraging its participants to learn, practice, and enrich their abilities.
