InkuA's first test of the proof-of-concept, started in October 2021. Research and tests of core principles and software started in January 2020, and part of the idea was bubbling in mind since 2015. On paper, InkuA's birthday is on the 27 of May 2022.
The last year, we've been working hard, creating and reshaping our organization to a size, shape and values that couldn't have been created by a single individual but by the dreams and willpower of hundreds of participants.
It seems InkuA is a platform to take us out of our comfort zone, but in a safe, forgiving and nurturing environment. Looking back, we all grew a lot, and our IT platform was not able to keep up with our ideas and projects.
That's why we've been slowly but surely testing the most modern tools, developing new processes, having forum after forum to brainstorm new ideas and in our collaborative construction we've changed our approach and re-invented InkuA again.
Our veterans won't notice any changes, since our core mission and values haven't changed - but our tools are much better. We are now Web 3.0 compatible, cryptography, artificial intelligence, machine learning, are now part of our core language. Data streams turn into big data, that enables us to do research and improvements at the same speed or even faster than any Silicon Valley company (because of our policies and open sandbox culture).
Our new website has low-code and no-code development tools to enable more participants to mock up new ideas and test them, kick-starting into the coding adventure. We've also simplified the development of modules and tools, and will start publishing courses to make it easier. Big shoutout to the open-source community, I believe they are the single most important opportunity equalizing factor in the digital world, and maybe even in the real one too. That's why we should work in a future with an open-source, easy to code, approachable metaverse we all love and use.
InkuA would not be possible without Nginx, Python, PostgreSQL, PHP, Odoo, and countless other free and open-source projects.
This is our new website, we are currently populating it with pages, blog posts, forums, courses, events and more goodies. Our backend is still a work in progress, and will co-exist with our older Intranet for at least 2 or 3 months, until all the participants migrate to the new platform.
I can't wait to see what incredible teams you will create, the amazing projects and incredible impact you will all have.
